a little over three years ago (!), i started writing a story about a teenage boy caught between the family and church he'd been raised by and a bigger, more complicated idea of who he might want to be when he grew up. so obviously sherlock holmes was impressively, amazingly queer. (duh, so were the original books, which i loved soooo much as a kid.)

but what i haven't seen anyone mention about said queerness is ( beware: spoilers )
